“CityMarket at O” Moves Forward with $35M TIF
The legislation for the $35M Tax Increment Financing (TIF) package still needs to be approved by the DC Council, but all major hurdles seem to have been cleared now that Roadside Development has received preliminary support for the financing from Mayor Fenty, Councilmember Jack Evans, Councilmember Kwame Brown, and Deputy Mayor Neil Albert. This $260M project will bring the largest grocery store in the District to Shaw. There are already retail tenants lined up for a few of the commercial units that will be a part of the project.
