Evans Wants to Rebuild Shaw Middle School

Ward 2 Councilmember Jack Evans held a press conference to announce his support to keep Shaw Middle School an active and vital part of the community that shares it's name in the wake of Mayor Fenty's school renovation plan announcement that would close the school. Several local officials and activists joined Mr Evans to talk about the Mayor's scheme. A town meeting to discuss the plan is scheduled for December 17.
